Education Committee

Partnering with Withlacoochee Technical Institute and Citrus County High Schools, the Education Committee works to provide the educational tools needed for our youth and secondary students to achieve their goals. Recently the CCBA Education Committee proudly announced the creation of three new chapters of the Future Builders of America program.

Public Relations Committee
Formerly known as the “think tank”, now the “get ‘er done” group of the CCBA, this committee generates and puts into motion new and exciting ways for the CCBA to become involved in the community, as well as innovative new ways for members to get the most benefit possible from their membership.

Their current goal is to develop a “message” to be used in all of our promotional materials. Find Out More

Parade of Homes Committee
Plans and oversees the Parade of Homes, one of CCBA’s biggest money makers. Free of charge and heavily advertised it is a scattered site event that promotes the models of our CCBA Builders to the public with no appointment required. Find Out More

Home & Outdoor Show Committee
Prepares for the Annual Home & Outdoor Show, giving our Associate members an exciting venue in which to display samples and information on all of the products and services they have available. This well advertised, well attended event is open to the public at no charge for 2 great days each year. Find Out More

Fishing Tournament Committee
This committee coordinates the Annual 2 day Fishing Tournament, giving members and non-members alike an opportunity to advertise, participate and win money while having a whole lot of fun. Grab your tackle box and jump right in to this committee. Find Out More

Membership Committee
Plans and oversees monthly membership meetings, non-member events, and new member orientations. Recruits new members and is always working hard to keep retention high. We want this to be the best, most fun HBA around. Come share your ideas with us! Find Out More

Building and Grounds Committee
Our CCBA building is our pride and joy. It houses our staff, provides a comfortable space for our many meetings and also has a beautiful hall that is available to the public for special occasions for a small fee. The Building and Grounds Committee works with staff to keep CCBA headquarters in tip top shape. Find Out More

Golf Tournament Committee
This committee plans and executes the very popular Annual Jim Blackshear Memorial Golf Outing, which is held every year at the fabulous Black Diamond Golf Club. This fun well executed committee makes this event one of our most profitable. Find Out More
